<About Performance>

The "SINAWI SPECTRUM" series, orchestrated by the Korea Heritage Agency, merges ‘Sinawi (A type of Korean traditional music ensemble with strong improvisation)’ with ‘spectrum (A band of light, A range that can be divided into many branches). This performance aims to show the diversity of international youths unified through Korean music, and to experience boundary-crossing traditional music.

This year, artists will visit from Mongolia and Japan, celebrating the 35th and the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations with Korea. Three traditional music artists from Mongolia invite you into the world of Mongolian traditional music, reminiscent of the vast grasslands and mountainous regions. Additionally, They presents a new charm of Korean traditional music interpreting with Mongolian traditional instruments and dance. Through the original compositions created in collaboration with Korean traditional musicians, They’ll show the friendship between the two countries, resembling the spirit of Goguryeo. Also, You can experience the artistic expansion that breaks down national and cultural boundaries with the addition of the shamisen(Japanese traditional instrument) artist!
