1. Recruitment Overview

  ○ Eligibility : All Korean and foreign nationals currently residing in Korea, including influencers, international students, immigrants, and more.

  ○ Qualifications

    - Individuals who comply with the Immigration Act of Korea and have no current issues with their residency status.

    - Individuals who will be residing in Korea through at least the end of November 2026 and have an interest in promoting Korean national heritage on the global stage

    - Must operate at least one personal social media account under their own name with a public (not private) setting

  ※ For Korean applicants, selection will be given to those who can produce content in English or who operate an English-language social media channel primarily targeting overseas users.

  ○ Preferred Candidates

    - Individuals willing to actively participate in promotional videos, media interviews, and other recorded activities

    - Individuals who energetically manage personal social media accounts such as Instagram or YouTube

    - Individuals who are available to attend events and participate in on-site promotional activities during weekday daytime hours.

    - Proficiency in Korean is preferred (official meetings will be conducted in Korean)

  ○ Number of Recruits : Up to 12 individuals

  ○ Application Period : February 6 (Fri) – March 2 (Mon), 2026

  ○ Ambassador Activity Period : April – November 2026 (8 months)

  ○ Activities : Participation in the KHA’s official social media content and online content creation (videos, photos, etc.)

  ○ Benefits : A stipend provided in the form of “K-Heritage store” credits (cash payments not available)

    * “K-Heritage store” credits can be used on the “K-Heritage store” website (https://www.khmall.or.kr/).

3. Key Dates

  ○ Screening Schedule : March 12 (Thu), 2026

    - Documents will be reviewed, and phone interviews may be conducted as needed. 

  ○ Final Selection Announcement : March 18 (Wed), 2026 (tentative) *Those selected will be contacted on an individual basis.

  ○ Appointment Ceremony & Orientation : March 23 (Mon), 2026, 15:00 / Venue: National Intangible Cultural Heritage Training Center (Samseong-dong, Seoul)
