A crown prince’s day was filled with lessons that prepared him to become king.
Explore Seongjeonggak Hall and Gwanmulheon Hall to discover how
a Joseon crown prince spent his day learning and practicing.

Seongjeonggak Hall  Learn and Ask

Seongjeonggak Hall was a place of learning where the crown prince sat face to face with his tutors, reading the Confucian classics and deepening his understanding through questions and answers.

Huiuru Pavilion  Read and Linger

Huiuru, meaning “Pavilion of Joyful Rain,” was a place where the crown prince spent time with his books.
